Odd Lot Co.

Code of Conduct

Last updated: October 2026

The short version

Be honest about what you're offering, honor the trades you agree to, and treat other crafters the way you'd want to be treated if you were mailing them a box of your own supplies.

Do

  • Describe your items honestly — condition, quantity, and what's actually in the box
  • Follow through on swaps and contributions you agree to
  • Communicate if plans change, rather than going silent
  • Keep listings, gallery posts, and forum content appropriate for a general audience
  • Report anything that seems like a scam, harassment, or inappropriate content — see how reporting works below

Don't

  • Post or trade illegal items, counterfeit goods, hazardous materials, or weapons
  • Post pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult content anywhere on the site
  • Misrepresent an item to get a better trade
  • Pressure or scam another user out of items, money, or personal information
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone
  • Ask for or share more personal information than a swap actually requires — see Shipping & Privacy

Negotiating a swap

It's on you to decide whether a trade is worth it. You can accept an offer, reject it, or send back a counter-offer — nobody here is grading the deal for you. Odd Lot Co. gives you the tools to negotiate and a private thread to talk it through; the actual bartering is between you and the other person.

Reporting & enforcement

Every listing, gallery post, forum thread, and profile has a way to report it. Reports go to a review queue — content flagged as potentially inappropriate is automatically blurred pending review. Depending on what's found, we may remove content, suspend an account, or take no action if a report doesn't hold up.

This isn't a fully-staffed trust & safety team — it's a new, small platform, and reports are reviewed as they come in rather than instantly. Repeated or severe violations (scamming, adult content, harassment) can result in account suspension.
